Monitoring of Ethernet network

The bachelor thesis deals witch possibility of monitoring active items of Cisco Company, VLAN networks built between them and utilization of particular lines. All the information about items is stored in MIB database. Designed and then implemented system uses pooling MIB database using SNMP protocol, to obtain required information. For application SNMP protocol, programming language Perl is used. Obtained and processed data are stored in MySQL database. Designed system is not dependent either on any platform or this implementation. All the technologies and tools used described in the thesis. In the thesis there is described and shown, how is possible pooling items including results of pooling.

Monitoring network with telemetric data transfer realized in medieval Jeroným Mine

To have more detailed information about rock massif behaviour, distributed control and measurement network for evaluation of hydrologic, geomechanical and other parameters has been built up in the medieval Jeroným Mine from the first half of 2006. Instrumentation is generally based on commercial control kit and sensors. This network is integrated to the seismic recording apparatus equipped by data transmission via GSM network to registration centre in Ostrava. Completely monitoring system is performed as modular to have possibility to change configuration of this system.

Podklad pro budování základní sítě imisního monitoringu na území ČR. Podrobný popis předmětu a způsobu monitorování ( sledované látky, použité metody měření, členění stanic, vstupní kritéria rozmisťování stanic, počty a umístění stanic SIS), technického zajištění sítě a náklady nezbytné pro provoz a rozvoj SIS. Návrhy na umístění nových stanic, renovaci a restrukturalizaci stávajících zařízení, doporučení pro údržbu a rozvoj sítě.
